Community Service
In spite of Rami’s very busy spiritual life and work schedule, she has managed to find the time to be involved not only in the spiritual world, but also volunteer in the community as well. She is one of those volunteers that selflessly gives to help the less fortunate. One thing for sure is that she truly enjoys volunteering at the homeless Mission in Long Beach. Most recently, on August 22, 2020, she volunteered with the United Sikhs organization in Buena Park; Rami helped them pack lunches at the Gurdwara, then drove to skid row in Los Angeles, and distributed a lunch package to the homeless people. Unfortunately, there is a huge homeless population in that area. She gladly excepts any of the many jobs necessary to feed on average over 300 to 400 people a day. She always respects the homeless as individuals, responds with kindness, and genuinely emphasizes with their misfortune. Nothing but words of encouragement and kindness are spoken by her. Rami is without a doubt one of those rare individual who is humble and stands above the crowd.
